Japanese tea subscription Tea club

The Tea Crane Tea Club Has Been Improved To Better Serve Our Subscribers And To Offer A More Dedicated Selection Of Authentic Artisanal Japanese Teas.

[JAPAN, KYOTO, April 14, 2021—] Tyas Sosen’s “The Tea Crane Tea Club™️”, the tea subscription box that was launched in November 2018 through a successful crowdfunding campaign, has received some essential new features and policy upgrades. Through these important updates, Tyas Sosen will be better able to share unique artisanal teas with subscribers, and also provide essential information and insights to better understand these teas. The most vital updates are listed below:

A thematic approach to the teas selected each month. This helps me share my knowledge and local connections with you in a more structured style.

A wider variety of teas. You will still receive at least two teas each month in your tea subscription package, and the inclusion of at least one exclusive tea available only to club members is still an essential part of the tea club. For those of you wanting even more tea in your life, we will be stocking additional quantities of select featured teas so that you can order more – an option that has not been available until now!

An expanded and improved booklet. The information about each tea will be presented in a more streamlined fashion, and additional short features will enhance your understanding of the world of Japanese tea.

A more personal tasting experience together. Members have access to monthly private tasting videos that share even more details about the current selection and theme. This will also be a chance to share brewing tips, answer questions submitted by club members, and fill you in on the latest updates on the tea industry.

New subscription options. We’ve heard your feedback and have started offering 6 and 12 month tea club packages in addition to the current monthly option. Visit The Tea Crane Tea Club webpage for more details.

About The Tea Crane

The Tea Crane offers an exclusive selection of top-grade naturally-grown, traditional Japanese teas by tea-master and organic tea sommelier Tyas Sōsen; first certified Belgian Japanese tea instructor and Tea-ceremony teacher in the Enshū school. The aim of The Tea Crane is to promote the taste of authentic Japanese tea. We do this by bringing the consumer and the tea farmer closer through openly sharing information about the manufacturer and the conditions in which the tea grew.

About Tyas Sōsen

Tea Master/Sommelier Tyas Sōsen relocated to Japan 13 years ago to study Japanese culture. His journey brought him to the Japanese tea ceremony and in logical succession guided him to discover the beauty of Japan’s intriguing tea culture. While Japanese green tea and matcha are becoming increasingly poplar in the West, very little information is available about the background of the product. Sōsen aims to fill this gap by sharing his knowledge and expertise with his customers.
