Tea Sampler - January 2016

Posted by Tyas Huybrechts on

Are you new to the world of Japanese tea?
Never had organic tea before?
Or,
Maybe you just aren't sure which tea to pick?

THEN THIS IS SOMETHING FOR YOU.

Each month we select 5 teas from our assortments,
present a sample of them in our authentic packaging,
and get them ship-ready with a notion of our knowledge
on an informative card for each.

We want to allow you the freedom to choose,
or to simply enjoy a wider variety of teas,
without having to buy the whole load.

We don't want you to waste your money on
tea that ends up on the shelf.

And once you've found your favorite,
you can come back and get it from the store.

But first !... There's this:

[The Tea Crane Tea Sampler]

Curious for this month's selection.

Here's this month's line-up:

  1. Organic Seed-grown Sencha - Tane tsuru
  2. Organic Benihikari "wa-kocha" Black Tea
  3. Organic Second Flush "wa-kocha" Black Tea
  4. Minami-sayaka Organic Oolong
  5. Koshun Organic Oolong

Why these teas.

Last month we introduced The Tea Crane's
flagship collection [Mountain Tea™].
That collection consists of better known sencha and
bancha varieties of Japanese production.

This month however, I hope to provide a bit more variety
and allow you to take a look at 3 different sorts of Japanese tea.

  1. A sencha, which I include for comparing purposes.
  2. Two black tea variations.
I have been making some noise and getting interesting
    responses about Japanese black tea,
so I wanted to provide a means for you
    to easily taste and compare.
  3. Two Japanese oolong variations.
Japanese oolongs are less well known
and through this way I hope to spread the word
    about this delicious tea.
