The current batch is from the Spring 2018 harvest of the native cultivar grown in this region.

Harvest: Spring 2018.
Type: Black tea / loose leaf.
Additional impressions: Raspberry chocolate; Red fruit aroma; Lightly spicy; Honey sweet with a sour hint of citrus; Creamy; Full bodied; Scarlet red liquor; Mildly sweet and positively light.
2nd brew: More citrus and spice.

This tea’s flavor only weakens slightly with the 2nd brew, and produces an enjoyable aroma throughout the 3rd and 4th brew.

    Opened my package of wa-kocha this morning and brewed several cups of tea. This tea is one of the smoothest black teas I’ve had. It was sweet and light. Great tea.
