Authentic hand-crafted kyusu teapot suitable for Japanese tea. This rear-handled teapot is designed to brew a variety of larger and smaller leafed Japanese green teas. Its larger size allows for a sufficient brew volume to please the whole family. Use this teapot to share a wonderful family tea moment.
The potter continues to use the Akahata white glaze on a reddish soil to bring out this beautiful glossy white surface. With use over time the glaze will start to show a craquelure which will add to the flavor of the teapot and its expression.
